Our Aggie Br “Ags”:

Kristin Walker’s son won the SEC swimming competition in Atlanta. It’s the first time an Aggie has ever won it.

Way to go Ben Walker! We are proud of you and continue to pray for your success in the classroom at A&M and in the pool. Walker is an alum of CLHS and is currently a junior at Texas A&M. This past weekend at the SEC Championships, he won the school’s first men’s conference title since joining the SEC. Walker also broke a school record in the 400 IM at the championships. Our Aggie Br “Ags”:

Four Aggies secured 2nd place at the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championship in North Augusta, SC on April 14, 2018! Two of the team members are from right here in Montgomery County – Caleb Wilkins, team captain, and Mitchell Gothard. This team won first at the Texas Collegiate Disc Golf tournament in the fall, securing their spot in the National Championship tournament. Mitchell also took 2nd in individual at Nationals and was named to All American First Team. Both Caleb and Mitchell will graduate in May – what a nice way to go out by taking the Aggie disc golf team to 2nd in the nation!

Ben Walker (Aggie Mom Kristin Walker) qualified for the NCAA Championship swim meet, which is March 21-24, 2018 at the University of Minnesota. He will swim the 200 and 400 IM and the 200 Breast. Ben joins 13 others from the Aggie Men’s Swim and Dive Team, which is the largest number of qualifiers in school history. The Aggie Men took second place at the SEC Championship meet in February, which was their highest finish since joining the SEC. Previously their highest place was 7th.
