It’s an Aggie Moms Club tradition that the each club President chooses a theme for the upcoming year. My immediate thought was “Stronger Together” because I know the strength of Aggie Moms & I know first hand what we can accomplish together. When I thought of an image to exemplify that theme, Rosie the Riveter from WWII was the first thing that came to mind. We’re living through extraordinary times and dealing with unprecedented issues – much like WWII. And in the same way, the women of WWII stepped up, took charge and made things happen.

We Aggie moms have that same steel grit & determination; that “get it done” attitude and that “better days are ahead!” attitude.  Whether we’re connecting to help our students, participating in order to be a part of something bigger than ourselves, or making new friends and enjoying this special time together, we are always Stronger Together.

Howdy Aggie Moms!

Students will be heading to College Station soon (or not), and it’s time to renew your membership in the Montgomery County Aggie Moms Club (or join for the first time)!

We have a calendar of FUN EVENTS planned for the entire year that you won’t want to miss – check them out by looking at our Calendar. And after you renew, don’t forget to order your Aggie’s GOODIE BAGS for Fall and Spring finals!  (Club members only – another reason to join!)

The theme for our first (virtual) club meeting on September 10 is Aggie Mom 101. It will be a great opportunity to get to know the Aggie Moms in the area – we hope to “see” you there!

My name is Natalie Parks and I serve as the Texas A&M Class of 2022 Junior Class President. With the recent university announcement mandating face coverings on campus during the upcoming fall semester, Class Councils is excited to announce that affordable and high quality Aggie Face Masks are now available for purchase! 

These face masks are available for purchase at tx.ag/facemasks, and pickup will be on campus during the first week of school. Shipping is not currently offered.

We will also do a giveaway for current students through our Class Instagrams starting today! Proceeds from these sales will benefit the respective Class Gift Fund, which is our Class legacy. We would greatly appreciate it if you would please consider sharing this mask sale information with the Aggie Moms in your club!

Applications for our Montgomery County Aggie Mom Scholarships can be found online on our website under the scholarship tab. The deadline for submission is April 20th 10PM

We have very special personalized Senior Gifts that will be given out at our May 14th meeting to recognize our Graduating Seniors. If your son or or daughter graduated in August or December, 2019, or will graduate in May, 2020, we would like to honor him/her.

Kelly Peterson has organized a Social this month at Painting with a Twist on March 19th 7-9PM. Each Aggie Mom needs to go to the the site calendar and register for the event Iisted on March 19th from 7-9 pm.  We will all be painting a Texas shaped wooden board.  The flowers are bluebonnets but we will have the option to change the wording.  The picture shows it with “Welcome” but we can put “Howdy” or any other wording that will fit.  The cost is $35 each.  In the “Special Requests” box on the online registration, every member needs to put “MCAMC group” so that we can sit as a group.

We’re asking everyone to bring a covered dish and BYOB. We had such an amazing turnout last year and we all had so much fun we decided to do it again! Check out our posts from our last Painting with a Twit Social on our Instagram, Facebook and our website – We guarantee you won’t want to miss out on this super fun Aggie Mom Night Out!

Our Aggie Moms Club will honor our graduating seniors at our May 16 meeting. We will host a dinner for all club members and for all graduates and their parents. Following dinner, each graduate will be introduced and presented with a gift.

If you have a son or daughter who graduated in August or December, 2018 or who will graduate in May, 2019, please e-mail me at kwalker1211@sbcglobal.net. I need your Aggie’s full name, as you would like it to be engraved on the gift, as well as his/her degree and graduation date. The gifts will be engraved in the following format:
